Possible Program Looks To Expand Learning Beyond School

Some local families presented a plan Tuesday to Mesa County School District 51 to begin a program geared to expand learning beyond school walls.
The Mesa Valley Vision School looks to involve students from both home and traditional schooling's and could become a contract school.
Those involved would include teachers, area businesses and other academia experts to offer a variety of options for students to further their education.
The idea is still in its infancy stage and the board will revisit the proposal in a few months.
