Investigators are looking for who is responsible for more than four–thousand dollars in damages to city vehicles.
Sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning windshields were broken on more than a dozen Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department trucks. Vandals climbed over a fence to reach the trucks, located at the Lincoln Park Department offices.
A parks worker says this is the second time vandalism has hit the lot, as someone destroyed ignition locks in a number of trucks earlier this summer. Vandals have also stolen golf carts from the lot several times. If you have any information on this crime or the earlier incident you are asked to call the Grand Junction Police Department.
