Pathologists Continue Work On Found Skull

Work continues to identify a human skull found on the Grand Mesa over the weekend.

Grand Junction resident Robert Frady and his son were looking for a lost camera off highway 65 not far from Mesa Lakes when they stumbled on the find. Mesa County coroner Robert Kurtzman has had the skull examined by a forensic dentist, and next week a forensic anthropologist will take a look.

Kurtzman says at this time the age and gender have not been positively determined, and it is unknown if foul play is involved.
