Woman Sentenced For Her Role In Meth Ring

Another person involved in Mesa County's largest methamphetamine distribution ring is sentenced Monday.

34–year–old Tammy Bauer received 12 years in prison for her role. Drug Enforcement Administration Agent Tom Gorman says he thinks the sentence was reasonable considering the role Bauer played which included driving to Arizona to pick up the drugs to be distributed in Mesa County.

Authorities say Bauer acted under the supervision of ring leader Stephen Parson who was sentenced last week to 24 years in the Department of Corrections.

A total of 30 people have been arrested in connection with this meth ring.
