A 19–year–old Paonia man is dead after the car he was in went up in flames.
According to the Delta County Sheriff's Office Harry Shelter died early Saturday morning after his car caught fire at about 5:20. Undersheriff Mark Taylor says Shelter was parked outside his parent's home in Hidden Valley and may have been sleeping when the fire started.
The cause of the deadly fire is being looked into by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Delta County Sheriff's Office.
