Late delivery of the flu vaccine to the Mesa County Health Department has already caused the cancellation of three flu shot clinics this year, but officials say that won't be the case Tuesday.
A Flu Shot Clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Barn for those who are considered high risk. People at high risk for complications include children six months to 5 years old, pregnant women, people 50 years and older, people of any age with certain chronic conditions and people who live in nursing homes and other long term care facilities.
A drive through vaccination area will be available for those who are disabled. Remaining flu clinics scheduled for November and December will be open to anyone. The cost per dose is $22.
