Woman Arrested In Connection With State Trooper Shooting

Video will be available shortly.

Glenwood Springs, Colo. (AP) - A woman has been arrested following the shooting of a State Trooper. Garfield County Sheriff's officials say 27-year-old Cori Elizabeth Graham is suspected of felony charges of being an accessory to a crime and tampering with physical evidence, and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer.

Trooper Brian Koch was shot three times late Tuesday after he pulled over the car of 33-year-old Steven Joseph Appl near Rifle. Two shots struck Koch's bulletproof vest, but a third bullet struck his arm.

Authorities say Appl was shot and killed last night after he and a woman were stopped at a roadside checkpoint. They say law enforcement officers did not fire the shot.
