Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez swings through Grand Junction today on his "Final Four Victory Tour."
During the hour-and one-half stop Beauprez blasted democratic opponent Bill Ritter on his record as Denver district attorney and called him a man of few ideas. Beauprez also pointed to other candidates who shared the stage with him as people who can get things done on water, taxes and fiscal responsibility.
Republicans have been recognized for their ability to energize voters, which has caused some polls to show the race for governor as competitive. Beauprez admitted that the Republican party has seen some rough times recently, but says Republican voters have seen what is happening in the state and will come out in force on election day.
Other candidates sharing the stage today include U.S. House candidate Scott Tipton, candidate for State Treasurer Mark Hillman and Bob Caskey, who is running for state House District 55.
