Mesa County Commissioners want the public to know that parents are needed for children needing new homes through adoption each year.
For a variety of reasons including drug use and an inability to care for them, courts determine these children need a stable and loving home other than their birth parents. Kim Kannedy has adopted four children in addition to three of her own. She says adopting children brings the opportunity to change the lives of neglected children for the better...and they in turn make her life better as well.
