Mesa County Republicans and Democrats both have legal counsels set up to make sure that the voting process is legal and ethical. The counsels work with the poll watchers in the event something should happen. The poll watcher system is designed to ensure the integrity of the voting system.
The Republican legal counsel anticipates things will go smoothly today, and as of this afternoon there were no reports of any legal issues.
