There was a major traffic tie-up on Horizon Dr. Wednesday afternoon following a two–vehicle crash, which may have involved an impaired driver.
According to law enforcement on the scene, it happened when the driver of a late model Toyota Tacoma, driven by an unidentified female, attempted to make an illegal turn onto Horizon Dr., clipping a commercial truck.
Passengers in both vehicles were slightly injured and taken to St. Mary's Hospital.
The female driver was given a field sobriety test, but no charges have been filed as of yet.
An accident recreation team was called to the scene and the road was reopened around 4 p.m.
