Four 9th grade students from the Fruita 8/9 School are getting ready to embark on the trip of a lifetime.
But it's not just a typical vacation, the students will be attending the 65th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor in Honolulu this December. The students were chosen based on an essay they wrote on the history of Pearl Harbor. Their teacher, Dr. Kent Main says this trip is important because there are few living Pearl Harbor Survivors.
The students leave for their trip on December 1st, and will return on December 8th.
