Third Arrest Made In Trooper Shooting

Garfield County Authorities announce that a third arrest has been made in the October shooting of Colorado State Trooper Brian Koch.

Nichole Brownell turned herself into the Garfield County Sheriff's Office on Saturday. The 39–year–old is charged with accessory to attempted first degree murder of a peace officer.

Trooper Koch was shot in the wrist last month by Steven Appl who later took his own life. Elizabeth Grahm and Daniel Hangs were arrested earlier for their roles in the shooting. Brownell has posted an $11,000 bond.
