A decorated Grand Valley Marine serving in Iraq is on his way to recovery after being wounded.
Marine Daniel Renshaw was reportedly shot today in the stomach and taken to a field trauma hospital where he's in stable condition.
While he is expected to make a full recovery, Renshaw's parents have still not heard from their son and are keeping a steady watch on the telephone.
Serving his second tour in the middle east, last year Renshaw was awarded the Bronze Star while in Afghanistan.
