Grand Junction Man Accused of Murdering His Ex–wife Pleads Not Guilty

"Not guilty," says a Grand Junction man accused of murdering his ex–wife. Cristobal Felix–Vega entered the plea before Judge Brian Flynn today.

Felix–Vega is accused of stabbing his ex–wife Hortensia Mendoza once in the chest on April 7th of this year. He says Mendoza fell on the knife while trying to take it away from her during an argument. She died during transport to the hospital.

Felix–Vega faces several charges the most serious being first degree murder. The trial is scheduled for two–weeks early next year....
