Sheriff's Office Seeking A Few Good Men...And Women

If you're interested in a law enforcement career but just can't afford to go because you can't quit your current job, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office may be able to help.

Law enforcement recruitment has been in a decline nationwide, and the sheriff's office realizes that some potential recruits can't afford to quit work to go to the training academy. Now the department will offer qualified applicants a livable income while in training at the criminal justice academy at the Delta–Montrose Technical College.

For more information on the sponsorship program call the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and ask for Cheryl Coffey.
