A woman whose foot was ran over Friday night by her minivan is recovering today.
According to a co–worker the woman is doing OK. The woman reportedly dropped her purse while getting into her mini – van last night while the van was in reverse.
The Grand Junction Fire Department says that when she reached down to grab the purse, she fell out and the van rolled over her left lower leg.
Her co– worker says she was taken to St. Mary's Hospital; and although she didn't break any bones, doctors are keeping her there one more day to make sure an infection doesn't develop.
