Long lines and long lists of restrictions have some holiday travelers saying "all aboard" this Holiday Weekend.
Many say with gas prices high and air fares even higher, taking the train just makes more sense. Amtrak officials say Thanksgiving is traditionally a busy time for the station, and while traveling by train takes longer than flying travelers say there are some benefits to hitting the tracks.
A round–trip ticket from Grand Junction to Denver costs about $100 and takes about eight hours each way. A flight from Grand Junction to Denver takes about an hour each way and costs around $270.
