This week's Grand Valley Power Student of the Week is a senior at Central High School, yet during her school day she rarely even steps foot in Central High.
Robyn Billings had all of her high school credit out of the way,
so instead of taking easy classes during her senior year, she became one of only four other high school students to attend Mesa State College full–time.
Even though she has a packed schedule full of college classes, Robyn finds plenty of time to volunteer.
Robyn says, "I'm really involved in service activities because I get happiness from helping others. Seeing that I made a difference is really important to me. If I can help anyone in some way, then why not do it."
Robyn plans to continue her service acts, as she strives to one day run her own non–profit organization.
