Three Youth Arrested After Alleged Church Graffiti Incident

three youths are in custody at the department of Youth Corrections today after they allegedly sprayed graffiti on a local church.

According to the Grand Junction Police, the three supposedly broke into a storage shed at Canyon View Vineyard Church and stole two cans of paint, using it to mar a church wall.

Damages are estimated to be under 500 dollars and seem to have already been painted over.

The youths face charges of second degree burglary--which is a felony-- and misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, theft and defacing property.
