An area organization is sending out a warning now that charities are aggressively seeking your donation.
The Better Business Bureau has a few simple tips to make sure you give wisely. The first is to not give cash - but to write a check instead. Second, document your records of giving to charities. Third, do not be fooled, A charity may appear to be legitimate but really is not. And finally, don't be pressured into giving.
