For years low income or uninsured Mesa County residents have relied on the Marillac Clinic in Grand Junction for medical and dental services and has now expanded for optical services as well.
The clinic held an open house for its new optical center Tuesday, but has been open for more than a month and with patients being able to receive anything from eye exams to glasses, the response has been positive.
To receive services, you need a month's worth of recent pay stubs, proof of residency and a social security card.
