There is a secret Santa somewhere in Fruita who is going to give the gift of wheels to 15 local kids...and a local bike shop is helping out.
The anonymous donor called Over The Edge Sports about purchasing bicycles. Manager Jerry Wolf was able to make a deal with Raleigh Bicycles to provide 15 two–wheelers at cost. Retail price on the bicycles is between 85 and 350 dollars. Mechanics at the shop are also helping out by giving their time to assemble the bikes, and a representative from Raleigh Bicycles will also be coming over to help as well. The bikes will be given to the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.
