The Grand Junction Police Department received a special delivery Monday in the form of a double-wide trailer.
Because of growing pains at the Police Department, the trailer will be used to house the Traffic Unit, which consists of seven people. The department expects to get two more trailers at the beginning of next year which will be used for meeting and training space and an incident command center.
