Grand Junction Fire Department Investigators still don't know what caused a fire that destroyed a local computer business last night.
The fire was first reported at Computers Plus at about ten Monday night.
Smoke poured out of the building as Grand Junction firefighters broke down the front door of the business to gain entry. The building was further ventilated through a hole cut in the roof.
The fire was under control within minutes, but there were several things hindering fire fighters at the outset, including intense heat, which caused a number of computer monitors to explode.
Damages are estimated at about one–hundred thousand dollars. Nobody was injured in the fire.
