As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention, and that saying rings true for one Fruita woman. After five years of hard work her invention is finally hitting the national stage.

Deviled eggs were the treat of choice for Joy Clymer, but after packing some in a pie dish for a party, she noticed a problem. "By the time I got there they we just kind of jumbled up in a big mess, and so I got to thinking there's gotta be something better than this," says Clymer.

So Clymer invented the Party-To-Go to hold her deviled eggs whenever she took them somewhere. Originally designed to only carry deviled eggs, the Party-To-Go now has several uses.

The tray also has a holder for cookies, cupcakes, veggie with dip and can even be used as a cake carrier. "There's nothing on the shelves for something like that," says, Clymer.

Starting Wednesday at midnight the Party–To–Go will be featured as "today's special value" on the QVC network. For Clymer this is a five year journey in the making. Clymer says, "There were times when I just didn't think anything was ever going to happen."

Clymer has another invention in the works which she is obviously keeping a secret but says inventing is something anybody can do. Clymer says, "It has to do with passion if you really believe in it then my advice is go for it."

The Party-To-Go will be featured eight times on the QVC Network starting at midnight Wednesday.
