Ethnically Diverse Toys

Video will be available shortly.

After almost 50 years Barbie is still young and hot, and according to the National Retail Federation, she's still a "top toy" for girls. But her competition is hot on her heels and ethnically diverse.

According to the US Census Bureau, currently 31% America's children are not–white, and retailers and toy makers are taking notice giving diverse families in the grand valley more opportunities to bring home dolls they can relate to.

A multicultural advertising firm polled culturally diverse families and found 82% of Black parents, 74% of Latino parents, and 50% of Asian parents felt it's important for their children to have dolls that look like them.

This holiday season no matter what kid you may be shopping for, chances are there's a toy out there as unique as them.
