After two years of preparations, the Grand Valley Model Railroad Club has finally unveiled its Christmas Train Show.
The display represents the Rio Grande Railroad as it traveled from Denver to Salt Lake City. The display gives a true look at the history of the Western Slopes.
"The Rockies are highlighted and the Western Slopes' landscape. We have different stops, one is Grand Junction. It shows how Grand Junction was back in 1930s. We also showcase Glenwood Springs and Glenwood Canyons," says Mickey Nuttall.
The display will be up at Cross Orchards Living History Farm for the next three weekends.
