School's out for summer, but the district is dishing out some homework for parents.

School District 51 will not allow people to register their kids next year if they are not up to date on their vaccinations.

Parents will have to have prove their five-year–olds, sixth and tenth graders have their booster shots.

Families who don't vaccinate because of medical or religious reasons will have to submit paperwork.

For more information, contact the School District or the Mesa County Health Department.
