Fourth of July Celebrations in Grand Junction
Be prepared to be dazzled tonight as the City of Grand Junction puts on its fireworks display.

The annual Independence Day Parade will be held today at 6:00 pm starting at 9th and Main in Downtown Grand Junction. The parade will travel down Main Street and end at 1st Street.

Immediately following the parade, be prepared to be dazzled as the City of Grand Junction puts on its fireworks display.

All the fun takes place at Suplizio Field. Gates open at 7:15 pm Tickets are $4 in advance and $5 at the gates, children 2 and under are free. Tickets are on sale now at City Market Stores, Mesa Mall, and
Grand Junction Parks and Recreation.

Entertainment starts at 8:00 pm and the fireworks are set to go off at 9:45 pm.

This years entertainment includes performances by Acid Rain, Greener Grass, Destinee & the Sheepdogs and Peggy Malone.

Free transportation is available by GVT Shuttle from any of the
following locations starting at 6:30 p.m. the day of the event and running every 1/2 hour:

Mesa Mall - GVT stop, south parking lot
Veterans Memorial Park (Fairgrounds) Main parking lot
Central High School - Parking lot
