A video posted on YouTube July 3 already has more than 1500 Web hits. It shows two girls fighting at Country Jam 2009. Officials say while the video is troubling, they're not investigating.

"It's new technology, everyone has a cell phone that has a video camera and they are carrying that stuff around so the possibility is always there for this stuff to be posted on the Internet," said Lisa McCammon with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

McCammon says it's unfortunate the fight happened, but her office will not be investigating it because no one ever reported the assault or tried to press charges. "You see the video and it is bad but at the very end of the video there is a security guard who comes in and breaks it up," said McCammon.

The video, posted by westsidegirlz has more than a thousand hits. Videos of fights like these are popping up more and more. McCammon said, "There's no accountability for video you see on YouTube and other sites.

McCammon said all in all assaults at Country Jam were down this year, "Whether that means people didn't report them and they still occurred-who knows. But as far as incidents that the sheriff's office responded to it seems like their were fewer this year".

"It's unfortunate that people like to fight and get 15 minutes of fame from it," McCammon said.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says if the fight had involved a juvenile they would be investigating it.
