DENVER (AP) Authorities say five people were injured -- one seriously -- when a car that was involved in a traffic accident crashed through the wall of a Denver apartment building.

The Denver Post reports (http://bit.ly/1iH3mRN) the vehicle crashed into the building northeast of downtown early Sunday. Fire department spokesman Mark Watson says the person who was seriously injured had to be extricated from the vehicle.

He did not know the nature of the traffic incident that preceded the crash, or how many of the injured were in the vehicle.
