The Downtown Farmers' Market Festival is hosting a Veteran's welcome home this week.

This Thursday, veterans will not only be able to buy fresh, locally-grown produce, they'll also be treated to a Welcome Home fair in their honor.

Organizers say the purpose is two-fold: they say they want to thank veterans for their service and they want to show veterans what programs, benefits, and services they have available to them.

The fair runs from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9. There will be several veteran support organizations on hand to help out at the intersection of 4th & Main Streets.
