Skiing at Powderhorn on Christmas Day is a tradition for many. And for others, it's a new experience.
Skiing on Christmas can also be a good way to show off some of those new presents. And who wouldn't want to look good on the slopes, especially when there's lots of eye candy around. Others were just enjoying the day with their family in one of Colorado's own winter wonderlands.
Whether you're spending the holiday outside cruising down the slopes, or inside with your loved ones; there's one simple message that most everyone wanted to share - Merry Christmas.
Powderhorn is open seven days a week, the lifts open at 9:00 am and shut down at 4:00 p.m. The ski season usually last's through April 1st.
