Travelers at Walker Field are reporting few problems with air travel today as the nation's air carriers get back on track following last weeks shut–down of Denver International Airport.
The Western Slope's busiest air terminal resembled a ghost town today compared to last week, when heavy snows shut down DIA and diverted dozens of planes to Walker Field. One passenger we talked to says there was a slight delay in leaving Salt Lake City because of a late incoming flight. Most travelers passing through the Grand Valley today are on their way to or from area ski resorts.
