An elderly woman and her son were injured after losing control of their vehicle, hitting five other cars at a Clifton pharmacy.
The woman, who's name and age were not released, was leaving the Walgreen's pharmacy off of the I–70 Business Loop in Clifton, when she apparently mistook the accelerator for the brake, circled around the parking lot wildly and struck five other cars.
She finally came to a stop after crashing into and moving two vehicles that were parked and all the cars that were hit belonged to employees of the store.
The elderly driver and her son were taken to St. Mary's, the woman complained of chest pains, while her son possibly suffered a broken arm.
