Former Secretary of the Interior and State Attorney General Gale Norton has a new job. Norton--who resigned from a sometimes stormy tenure as the nation's top land steward--will work for Dutch Shell LLc. as legal general counselor on the company's oil shale program.
Shell is thought to be the farthest ahead in developing the potential energy source using a location in Colorado's Rio Blanco county.
