Being prepared for snow in the high country and adverse driving conditions is extremely important and in some cases can mean the difference between life and death.
Broomfield, Colorado resident Andrea Patterson drove from Denver to Grand Junction Thursday in the midst of the areas second major storm. She says while she witnessed several accidents it was comforting to know that she would be prepared if she became stranded.
Patterson went to the AAA website and packed everything they suggested.

Blanket and extra set of clothes
Winter formula window washer solvent
Non-clumping kitty litter
Ice-scraper, snow brush and snow shovel
Extra car fuses
