Most Federal Offices Closed January 2ND

Due to a National Day of Mourning declared in memory of President Gerald Ford a number of federal offices will be closed on Tuesday, January second.

U.S. Postal Service offices will be closed for the day, and no deliveries made except for express mail.

Offices of the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service are also closed for the day.
However, the Veterans Administration Hospital in Grand Junction will be open and veterans with scheduled appointments will be seen.

All branches of the federal government will operate as normal on Tuesday.
