A downtown merchant says that business is improving on Main Street, especially in the 600 Block.
Scentsations owner, Sonner McKay, recently opened another store in the Sentinel Square Plaza. The square has traditionally been occupied with non – retail business, but with the recent opening of other retail outlets and restaurants in the vicinity, pedestrian traffic is improving.
The Downtown Partnership said that the turnover rate for new business's per year is between four and five percent.
