Representative John Salazar said the House of Representatives passed some reforms that will help get the nation's fiscal house back on track.
Congressman Salazar is a supporter of fiscal responsibility in the government. Some of the rules passed include requiring members of congress to be given 24 hours notice before a bill is brought to the floor; and the return of pay as you go - which means that congress cannot spend more money than it has.
With the national debt reaching the nine trillion dollar mark, Salazar said it is congress's responsibility to all Americans to stop passing billions of debt on to future generations.
