A former award winning elementary school teacher made a court appearance today.
Tammie Lee, formerly known as Tammie Lee Reed, pled not guilty to a slew charges including theft, check fraud, and violation of bail bond conditions. In addition to several charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Lee's 2005 methamphetamine possession charge is a class four felony which carries a minimum sentence of six years. The former first grade teacher was arrested for a second time last month on suspicion of check fraud and methamphetamine possession. Lee's jury trial is set to begin in June.
