For the second time in as many days authorities are warning citizens that a registered sexually violent predator is living in their midst.
Monday the Grand Junction Police Department announced a registered sexually violent predator had moved to town, and Tuesday the Mesa County Sheriff's Office did the same.
In keeping with state laws, the Sheriff's Office will hold a sex offender community notification meeting Thursday, January 18 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at The Clifton Assembly of God Church.
At this time authorities are not releasing the offenders name or address but say they will at the meeting. During that time authorities will also discuss how sex offenders are managed and take questions from those in attendance.
