Water Pipe Breaks At Workforce Center

Video will be available shortly.

The Mesa County Workforce Center was flooded Monday morning, not with people looking for jobs, but with water.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m. a sprinkler line on top of the building broke, flooding most of it's general office area. The Grand Junction Fire Department responded to assist in clean – up. The cause is not known, but the cold weather is suspected.

The Workforce Center will be open for business on Tuesday. At this time, the Workforce Center does not know the cost in damages from the flooding.
