The Central Branch of the Mesa County Library is still without power and still trying to dry out after a water main broke last week blowing a transformer.
On Wednesday crews worked to replace the waterline and say hopefully by Friday they'll have a new transformer in place.
Officials with the library say its remodeling project was only about a week away from completion, however recent events have set them back at least three to four weeks.
No books were damaged in the incident, and the library hopes to reopen by Tuesday. While it's closed patrons will not be fined for overdue books.
