With just a three–digit call travelers in Colorado can get the latest in road conditions across the state-- and much of the west. By dialing 5–1–1 motorists can get information on road and weather conditions, highway closures and detours, construction, chain restrictions and amber alerts.
The 5–1–1 service is an addition to current information lines, but is easier to remember. The addition of Colorado to the 5–1–1 list now makes 30 states using the system to help travelers, including Utah and Arizona.
