Education is one of the most important aspects of a child's upbringing.
Thursday night's open house provided parents and educators an opportunity to discuss this part of a child's life.

District 51's open house allowed parents to get a peek at what's been happening not only at their students schools but also within the district. The open house also opens the door to communication not only with parents and teachers but also with educators themselves.

The school district said that the open house is a way for them to showcase their goals. They said this process is a continuous improvement for them.

42 schools and 21,300 students make up Mesa County Valley School District 51.
