Gas Prices Drop Below $2.00 Mark

Video will be available shortly.

It's hard to believe, but motorists in Grand Junction are finding you can get a gallon of gas for under two bucks.

After dropping 14 cents in just two weeks the national price for regular unleaded gasoline remained steady this week at $2.17.

Experts had predicted that the price of gas would continue to fall to around $2.00 a gallon and Grand Junction has proved them right. Bradley Sinclair's on 25 Road is offering motorists a steal at $1.99 per gallon. Across the street at Conoco gas is going for $2.08. On Horizon Drive gas is going for about $2.09

According to the Energy Information Administration's weekly survey, gasoline is down almost twenty cents from this time last year.
