A student at a college in Gunnison arrested over the weekend in Douglas County killed her baby, according to sources.
KUSA 9 News says an member of the Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Addie Kubisiak admitted to giving birth to the baby in a car while on her way home to Parker from Western State College, where the baby was born. She then allegedly took the baby home for a while before returning to school.
Kubisiak was arrested after a search warrant was served on the Campus Saturday and a baby's body was removed from a dormitory.
Kubisiak will be arraigned today and could face first-degree murder charges as well as child abuse resulting in death and concealing a death.
