Funeral Today for Fallen Lieutenant Colonel
Mesa County law enforcement and the entire community is saying goodbye today to a man who served our community.

Mesa County law enforcement and the entire community is saying goodbye today to a man who served our community.
Bob Habliston was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash near
Ouray.
Today officers with the departments that he served and his family will gather to thank him for his service and say goodbye.
A multi–agency motorcade will escort the family to the funeral. The motorcade will travel down the Riverside Parkway and then continue to Canyon View Vineyard Church for the services. The funeral is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
Habliston was a lieutenant with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and served as the second in command for the State Patrol for a number of years.
11 News will attend the funeral and bring you more on Habliston's life tonight at 5:30 and 10 p.m.
